We will depart the Troy Marriott in one of our luxury buses on a 40 minute journey to The Ypsilanti Automotive Heritage Museum in Ypsilanti, Michigan. It is a unique automotive museum that is home to cars from the local General Motors Willow Run Plant and cars from Hudson Motors. The collection includes the original Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a Tucker automobile movie prop from the movie Tucker: The Man and His Dream. The prop is a feature of a Preston Tucker display. Preston Tucker was from Ypsilanti and did his engineering work a couple of blocks from the museum. After a short tour through the museum, we will stroll across the street to Side Track, a landmark burger spot for car enthusiasts.

From there will take a 15 minute ride to the Yankee Air Museum, which collect objects of particular significance to the history of aviation and spaceflight.

The Yankee Air Museum's exhibitions cover global conflicts from World War One to the present through displays that offer visitors an opportunity to experience those conflicts through the men and woman who lived it. Many items in the collection - including but not limited to uniforms, weaponry, aircraft, medals, letters, artwork, photographs, and other mementos — are currently on exhibit in the Museum. The majority of the collection are kept safely in storage for research and future exhibitions, or are being restored to their original condition. The Museum also has a large collection of oral histories conducted with veterans of all branches and the civilians who helped at the home front.

Among the amazing artifacts at the museum are a B-52 Stratofortress, C-47 Douglas Skytrain, a B-25 Mitchel, and a B-17 Flying Fortress.
You will have an opportunity to purchase 25 minute rides in the B-25, the C-47, and the Bi-plane. These rides will be expensive, but will be an experience you will never forget.
